The input that I want to make to the conference’s programme: Help ensure conference programme reflects multi-dimensional aspects of our industry from commercial & financial to technical & execution, from design concept to operation, from liquefaction to shipping to regasification and to end use. But mostly to promote teamwork.

Don is the Owner & Principal of DKH LNG Consultants, LLC, providing consulting and advisory services to the LNG industry.
Don served as McDermott’s Global Vice President, LNG Product Line Executive responsible for LNG market research, customer and competitor analysis, and product line strategy and developments.
Prior to the merger with McDermott, Don was CB&I’s SVP Strategy & Initiatives, where his focus was identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, while leading special projects and initiatives for Engineering & Construction.
Don joined CB&I in 2006 and led CB&I’s global LNG team as a SVP of LNG Operations, providing support for CB&I’s LNG projects including base-load liquefaction, floating liquefaction, regasification terminals, and peak shaving facilities until being assigned to lead Strategy & Initiatives in 2017.
Prior to joining CB&I, Don worked nearly 30 years at KBR and was involved in practically all their LNG projects. At KBR he led the technology team responsible for the application and development of LNG and Gas Processing technologies.
Don has extensive background and experience in all phases of plant design, engineering, start-up, and testing. In his various roles he has lived and worked in the Middle East, Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Peru, and the USA.
Don has a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, and holds three patents for cryogenic processes. He has co-authored papers on topics such as LNG technology, liquefaction design, cost optimization, and plant reliability. He has been a frequent presenter, panel member, and chair at LNG and Gas conferences. A former member of the Rice University Engineering Alumni Board of Directors, Don has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
