Number of LNG X events: 8 events (11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 2019)

The input that I want to make to the conference’s programme: I look forward to leading the LNG2023 Programme Committee for the first time as Chairman. With the help of an outstanding team I intend to deliver an improved and memorable conference that builds on past strengths.


What do I expect from LNG2023?

"To enable the LNG industry to assume its role as a source of clean and affordable energy that will continue to improve the lives of millions while helping the world transition to a low carbon future."

Philip Hagyard has been with TechnipFMC since 1982 and has been working in LNG and gas monetization for most of his 40 year career.

For the past 15 years he has been responsible for developing TechnipFMC’s position in LNG, FLNG and mid-scale LNG, particularly in China. His duties includes managing pre-sales commercial activities; monitoring of the gas market, trends in investment and the evolution of technology; fixing strategy in technology and partnerships and managing the group wide R&D programme.

Earlier he was associated at a technical level with all stages of Nigeria LNG, Yemen LNG and the Qatargas projects.

He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer in the UK and has worked in France, the UK, Norway, Qatar and Malaysia.

After serving on every LNG steering committee since LNG15 in Barcelona as a voting member representing the IIR, he will continue for LNG2023 in his capacity as PC Chair.
